Guests joined Cosentino for a behind-the-scenes look at The Block homes, discovering new materials and creative partnerships.
October 30th, 2025
Cosentino, a global leader in innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, hosted an exclusive VIP experience for a select group of clients and journalists, a behind-the-scenes tour of The Block’s finished homes in Daylesford, Victoria.
The day began at Cosentino City Melbourne, where guests enjoyed breakfast before setting off by private coach to Daylesford. Lunch at the iconic Farmer’s Arms Hotel set the scene for an inspiring afternoon exploring the creative results of this year’s competition.

Joining the group was Itay Shimony, Vice President of Cosentino APAC, who spoke about the future of Cosentino’s house of brands and the company’s ongoing partnership with The Block. His talk highlighted Cosentino’s continued focus on innovation, sustainability and collaboration across the design industry.
Guests toured all five houses from The Block, gaining an insider’s look at the details and design choices that define each one. Contestants Han & Cam (House 2), Britt & Taz (House 3) and Sonny & Alicia (House 4) welcomed the group, sharing their creative process and insights from the show.
In House 4, Sonny & Alicia showcased their Cosentino Dekton Reverie island bench, a striking centrepiece that anchors their kitchen with confidence and style.

Han, from House 2, spoke about her passion for natural stone, which inspired her choice of Dekton Taga, an ultra-compact reinterpretation of the luxurious Taj Mahal quartzite, prized for its durability and stain resistance.

Cosentino’s latest innovation, the zero-silica XERON Cascade Gold, also caught guests’ attention. Featured in Britt & Taz’s award-winning wardrobe and House 4’s kitchen, the surface combines beauty, versatility and sustainability, an example of where material design is heading.

The day wrapped up back at Cosentino City Melbourne, with relaxed evening drinks and conversation about the creativity, craftsmanship and material innovation showcased throughout the tour.
