Sub-Zero and Wolf, leaders in luxury refrigeration, wine preservation and cooking equipment, announce the return of the Kitchen Design Contest, recognising design professionals throughout the world for their stunning, innovative kitchen designs.
The Sub-Zero and Wolf Kitchen Design Contest is an international competition that honours outstanding and innovative kitchen design featuring Sub-Zero refrigeration and Wolf cooking equipment.
Sub-Zero Group Australia will award three first place category winners with A$3000. Prizes will be awarded for Best Contemporary Kitchen, Best Transitional Kitchen and Best Traditional Kitchen. In addition, Sub-Zero and Wolf internationally will award prizes totalling over US$100,000. Entrants are eligible to win multiple categories. Entries from across the globe are evaluated by an international panel of seven talented judges. Leaders in the industry from disciplines including architecture, interior design, and kitchen design, all demonstrate a passion for good design, a dedication to the design community, and all are previous Kitchen Design Contest winners
Designs are critiqued on the innovative use of space and the application of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.
Eligibility for the contest requires that all design and construction be fully completed within the contest period of January 1, 2015 – December 31, 2016 and are to include at least one full-size built-in or integrated Sub-Zero refrigeration unit and at least one Wolf primary cooking appliance, including ranges, rangetops, ovens and cooktops.
