Celebrating ten years of Indo-Pacific design: 2026 INDE.Award winners revealed

On the evening of Thursday 30 July, the winners of the 2026 INDE.Awards were announced at a special 10th anniversary Gala at 1 Hotel Melbourne. The evening celebrated the outstanding people, projects and products shaping architecture and design across the Indo-Pacific.

Now in its milestone 10th year, the INDE.Awards is regarded as the premier awards program for architecture and design in the Indo-Pacific.

Each year, the INDEs showcase the region’s most exceptional projects, people and products, with only 12 entries shortlisted in each main category. To be shortlisted is an achievement in itself, while this year’s winners and honourable mentions represent the extraordinary talent found throughout our diverse region.

Leaders from across the design community gathered at 1 Hotel Melbourne to celebrate this year’s recipients and mark a decade of the INDE.Awards.

The winners also received a uniquely crafted trophy created by INDE.Awards Trophy Partner r.a.g.e, an independently run Melbourne hot glass studio led by renowned glass artist Ruth Allen.

The INDE.Awards team congratulates every entrant, shortlisted practice, honourable mention recipient and winner. We also extend our sincere thanks to our jury and partners, whose expertise and continued support make the program possible.

While the Gala marked the culmination of the 2026 INDE.Awards, it was also an opportunity to reflect on 10 years of regional design excellence. Across the Indo-Pacific, great thinkers and expert practitioners continue to push boundaries and strengthen our region’s influence on the global stage.

Entries for the 2027 INDE.Awards will open in December.
