JJ Acuña / Bespoke Studio partners with Coffeelin to inaugurate locations in Central and Fortress Hill.
February 20th, 2025
Coffeelin, in partnership with JJ Acuña / Bespoke Studio, has expanded its Milanese coffee-to-cocktail concept with the addition of two locations in Central and Fortress Hill. As Asia’s exclusive purveyor of GRISO coffee beans, Coffeelin brings the essence of Milanese coffee culture to the city. GRISO beans, sourced from family-owned plantations and roasted in Milan, are celebrated for their full-bodied flavour and aromatic depth, characterised by the tradition of Italian coffee making.
“We are thrilled to bring two new Coffeelin locations to Hong Kong, each honouring different facets of Milanese family heritage and coffee culture,” shares JJ Acuña, creative director for the studio. “Our mission is to provide an environment where guests feel part of the Coffeelin family, experiencing not just our Italian coffee and cocktails but also the traditions and stories that make the brand unique.”

In Central, Coffeelin reinterprets the convivial spirit of an Italian taverna. Terracotta tiles, textured walls, oak furnishings and ceiling murals create a warm, refined environment, while communal tables and an open bar encourage social connection. By day, the space offers GRISO coffee and Italian-inspired bites; by night, it metamorphoses into a chic cocktail venue.
Fortress Hill draws inspiration from the intimacy of a provincial osteria, with vibrant patterned tiles, ceiling murals and rustic oak elements, with the addition of an open kitchen layout, reminiscent of family gatherings. The approach yields an experience of the ‘live and let live’ ethos that defined Nonna’s hospitality.
