Now in its 3rd year, Saturday in Design’s The Project goes from strength to strength each year.
Having established itself as a powerful drawcard of the SiD agenda, the program saw 17 inspiring collaborations between exhibitors and designers demonstrating the breadth and outstanding creativity of our design community.
We asked the public to vote on their favourite collaboration from Saturday in Design and the verdict is now in.
Zenith and Bolon’s partnership with Woodhead architects was the firm favourite with their theme BE and the 7 deadly sins theme, which tied in with the launch of the BE chair from Formway.
Following closely behind, Fitzroy Design Studio, InterfaceFLOR, Stylecraft respectively garnered a large percentage of the votes. With Nexus and Burgtec following closely behind.
This year also saw the announcement of the first award for The Project, as presented by Fridcorp – with the judges choosing the group of installations designed in collaboration with InterfaceFLOR as the most outstanding.
