What does your company supply?
CSM is an Australian Manufacturer of a comprehensive range of design focused office storage solutions. Most CSM products are GECA approved.
The CSM product range includes many styles of Cabinets, Pedestals, Caddies,Rollinjg Storage, Shelving and Filing Systems.
What is the history of your company?
CSM has been manufacturing steel storage products in Australia for over 50 years. Over the years the CSM manufacturing plant had developed into a state of the art facility able to cope with the special needs of the office storage market.
Where do you distribute?
CSM manufacturing plants and head office are based in Sydney. CSM also has offices in Melbourne and partners or distributors in all Australian States and Territories. In addition CSM exports throughout Asia and the Middle East with a number of Dealers in the Gulf Countries.
Describe your customers?
CSM customers cover a wide spectrum from Corporate and Government Users, Interior Designers, Project Managers and Builders. CSM has been involved in some of Australia’s most prestigious projects including Commonwealth, National, ANZ and Macquarie Banks, Australian Museum, NSW Art Gallery, Dept of Prime Minister and Cabinet and many more.
What sets your company apart?
CSM prides itself on its strong environmental and design initiatives in our industry. CSM has an ‘in house’ design team and probably the most experienced team of storage specialists in the industry who are available to work with customers to provide the best solutions.

What are your client’s priorities at the moment?
There is a constant discussion between Quality, Function, Design and Price. The decisions on these factors are often governed by the customer’s budget. However the best solutions look at the long term benefits to the client and ensure high quality and function with a strong emphasis on design.
What is good design to you?
Good design combines strong aesthetics with function. The modern office requires far greater flexibility and therefore consideration of such things as space sharing, mobility and technology need to be taken into account.
What does the future hold?
The office environment is constantly changing and CSM are investing in technology and design to ensure that they remain at the cutting edge of industry trends. CSM will work closely with the design community to develop innovative products to meet the market needs.
