A riot of colour and movement, this lighting design project in Vancouver illuminates the largest stadium roof of its kind, in the world.
September 20th, 2013
This stadium in Vancouver, Canada, underwent extensive renovations that saw a new roof, the largest of its kind anywhere in the world. Briefed to light the structure without resorting to “run of the mill” colour change techniques, the team at CM Kling and Associates have delivered a customisable and ever-changing solution.
“The lighting design focused on three key areas: the façade, the roof, and the support structure. Using colour and sequenced lighting shows the design is able to create identifiable signature scenes for each user group.”
Headquartered in Washington DC, CM Kling + Associates Inc. is a dynamic architectural lighting design firm founded in 1980.
