The Line Mini lighting range from Sol Luminaire is the essence of the LAB2.1 philosophy – lighting that is experimental, yet practical, and truly beautiful.
October 12th, 2020
Since launching the LAB2.1 platform, Sol Luminaire has created functional, beautiful works of light art, and the new and improved Line Mini continues this design journey.
Part of the Line Series of lighting, the new Line Mini is a sleek and small light that’s big on ideas. Even smaller than the existing series, the new Line Mini is designed with a focus on aesthetics and performance. It boasts remarkable glare reduction technology that does not compromise on light level or energy efficiency. With a Unified Glare Rating (UGR) of < 9, glare reduction is significantly reduced from that of the exisiting series’s UGR of 14. As such the light source of the new Series is barely noticeable, effectively delivering zero level of glare.

Matched with dimmable technology, with dimmers designed by Sol Luminaire design partners Buster + Punch, all rooms of the home can be easily transformed from bright and work ready spaces to relaxed or romantic. The Adjust variation of the Line Mini also boasts a flexibility option, offering up to a 45-degree tilt, perfect for washing a feature wall in soft light.
The new, smaller than ever Line Mini is currently being showcased in the newly revamped Sol Luminaire display space, an inspired and sleek area where the new fixtures are presented alongside the full range of beautiful lighting and accessories under the Sol Luminaire name.
Often-overlooked in lighting design, dimmers, switches, and sockets are as important to setting the right ambience as the lights themselves. The unique and newly revamped Buster + Punch dimmers, switches and socket designs complement the Line Mini range and the entirety of Sol Luminaire’s lighting collections, ensuring no flickering or wobbling of the light so the function remains as beautiful as the design.

Through this design partnership, the sleek, ground-breaking, and functional lighting technology of Sol Luminaire the revamped Buster + Punch booth lighting range result in lighting collections that can suit any contemporary home.
The revamped range includes the charming and dimmable Buster Bulb Tubes, which are available on a fixed 2.6m adjustable pendant series, the Hooked 3.0.
Sol Luminaire’s galleries are conveniently located within a minute’s walk of each other, at 395 and 399 Guillemard Road, with the new Lini Mini collection at 395, and the revamped Buster + Bunch collection at 399. Due to the immediate popularity of these new collections, Sol Luminaire suggests making an appointment so as to not miss out! Appointments can be made from Monday to Friday 10:00-19:00, and Saturday 11:00-17:00.
