Monochrome

The new Arte textile wallcovering collection takes interior design to a new level of refinement with seven new ranges, each distinguished by unique patterns, material choices and colour palettes.
From the wavy moiré effect of Vertigo, the intrigue and playfulness of Oculaire, the three-dimensional character of Spectra, and the timelessness of Revera, to the earthy connection of Ligna, the singular charm of Monochrome, and the linen-themed luxury of Signature, the new Arte wallcovering collection dares the designer to raise the bar.
Vertigo is crafted using the wavy moiré technique on lurex fabric, a textile fabric blended with metal yarn that lends the wallcovering its glitter and gloss. Constantly in motion, the hypnotic effect is enhanced with gold, silver or copper accents. Contemporary and playful at the same time, Oculaire is made from hand-woven sisal fibre. This stylish wallcovering is handcrafted using a refined technique to create an intriguing trompe-l’oeil effect.
The three-dimensional effect of Spectra is created using the thermoforming technique, which lends the collection its depth and character. This standout range with its 3D relief, luxurious textures and balanced colours, has an irresistible softness that envelops the interior in a warm embrace.
Classic textile patterns revived with a modern twist – the Revera collection pays tribute to the unique ties and synergy between fashion and interior design. The collection with the Earth connection, Ligna brings to life beautiful flora and fauna. This collection minimises the use of repetitive design to complete the ‘natural’ experience.
Monochrome, as the name suggests, is based on a single colour. Arte designers innovated a new technique for this series of wallpapers, involving the application of gleaming relief inks on a matte or metallic substrate to create designs inspired by wood, embossed leather, architecture and geometry. The Signature ‘linen’ collection evokes the luxury and elegance of this timeless fabric, bringing to mind images of summer, relaxation and even rustic charm.
Arte’s new collection of wallcoverings is exclusively stocked in Malaysia and Singapore by Tatum Company.
