Gaggenau’s new modular ceiling ventilation system is an innovative, tailor-made solution for the kitchen.
August 4th, 2011
The latest addition to Gaggenau’s range of ventilation systems is a standout in more ways than one.
Its beauty lies not just in its sleek, minimalist form, but in the high degree of flexibility it affords. Modules can either be fitted flush with the ceiling or integrated into cabinetry while the separate control, lighting and filter modules can be combined with two new remote fan units – AR 400 and AR 401.
With a maximum of 2 remote fan units and 8 filter modules, each control unit achieves an extraction rate of between 950 and 2800 m³/h.
The lighting too, comes with options. The control unit is available with or without illumination, making it possible to combine the AC 402 with external lighting systems.
The AC 402 is not only extremely efficient but particularly quiet in operation as well, thanks to the combination of patented rim extraction filters and new remote fan units. This effect can be further enhanced by mounting the remote fan units outside the kitchen, for example in the attic.
AC 402 is operated by remote control and is available in both air extraction or recirculation versions
