Foundry Store in Singapore opens a new and bigger showroom, and launches 5 new brands.

Foundry Store has recently relocated from its Purvis Street showroom to a more spacious 1,800 sq ft Seah Street address, just a stone’s throw away.
The move comes as the store rapidly expands its stable of brands from 4 (this includes house brand Foundry) to 9. Here we look at all the latest additions to the fold!
String
Nisse Strinning’s String may have been designed in 1949, but this lightweight shelf is today one of the 20th century’s icons of design. This piece of Swedish invention is easy to assemble, brilliantly flexible, and comes packed in a thin and simple packaging for easy transportation.
SCP
SCP is a quintessentially British brand that’s inspired by the designs of the Modern Movement. The furniture pieces are functional, beautiful and made to last, and are created in collaboration with such talents as Konstantin Grcic and Tom Dixon, just to name a few. More than 2 decades on, SCP has firmly established itself as one of UK’s most innovative and internationally respected names in contemporary design.
Joquer
Joquer has been designing and manufacturing upholstered furniture pieces since 1983. The products emphasise the company’s Mediterranean roots and its constant quest for the harmony between discipline, creativity, quality and elegance.
Ziru
Ziru is a Valencia-based company founded in 1965. The Spanish brand focuses on contemporary furniture, both for the home and contract market, and follows a strict environmental policy.
Dd
Also from Spain, Dd offers furniture made from high quality injection-moulded plastic that’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Respected designers such as Josep Llusca, Joan Gasper and Lluis Codina all contribute to a comprehensive collection that is refreshing, stylish yet accessible.
