Autoban is the new design sensation from Istanbul and the brain child of Seyhan Ozdemir and Sefer Caglar architect and interior designer respectively. An interior design company that works primarily on commercial interiors, they offer a lifestyle where spaces are not made but discovered.
Autoban have taken this attitude and their design skills to a new level by designing their own range of furniture. The collection is defined by its use of solid wood, a trademark of their manufacturing company De La Espada, as well as their later 20th century aesthetic. This aesthetic is what sets Autoban apart and makes them an inspiration for designers wanting an edge of individuality in their work.
Their new chair design takes inspiration from the wings of a butterfly; the backrest appear to wrap around you providing support and added comfort. Crafted from solid wood, Butterfly also has a barstool option and is available in leather or fabric upholstery for the same price. Ideal for use as a desk or dinner table chair Butterfly is perfect for both domestic and commercial applications.
