Fanuli in conjunction with Riva 1920 have launched a design competition that brings the best of Italian design within reach, the first prize winner collecting a trip to Milan.
September 17th, 2013
“The First Design Award: Light Up Your Idea”, has been launched on the back of the recent pairing of signature Italian furniture manufacturer, Riva 1920 and Australia’s Fanuli Furniture.
Crocetti
The brief is to create a solid reforestation wood table that celebrates the essence of Riva 1920’s offering – wooden furnishings finished only in natural oils, proving good for the environment and humans.
Pinomugo
With cash prizes on offer for the finalists as well as a trip to Milan for the winning entry, this competition is open to Professionals and Student’s alike.
A prototype will be made of each of the finalist entries, should the winning design be considered suitable to go to market, it will then be produced and sold throughout Riva 1920’s distribution network.
Falò
The winning projects will be officially presented during Salone Milano 2014 and an official award ceremony will be organised at Riva Centre in Cantù, Italy, during the Salone Milano week.
