The RAIA recently announced the elevation of SJB’s Charles Justin to the status of Life Fellow.
August 20th, 2008
Founding Director of architects and designers, SJB, and Managing Director of Plus Architecture, Charles Justin, has been awarded a Life Fellowship of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA).
Justin is noted for his role as RAIA Victorian Chapter President in the 1980s, his contribution to the founding of SJB and Plus, imbuing commercial architecture with design quality, and for his commitment to mentoring young architects.
"Being recognised by your professional peers is one of the highest acknowledgements that
you can receive…this recognition is also for my fellow directors and architectural colleagues who I have worked with throughout my career," Justin says.
"Architecture is an extremely rewarding enterprise which celebrates the optimism that we
can build a better world. I feel a real buzz to be part of that."
