Installation meets natural wonder with Grand Chasm.
December 2nd, 2011
Sand Dune Hike’s latest artistic collaboration asks visitors to ’file in. Be amazed. Leave quietly’.
The ’be amazed’ bit is a sure thing. Kenzie Larsen, William Mansfield and Eddie Sharp have created an installation that evokes the sensation of encountering some kind of naturally occurring phenomenon.

Dramatic and mesmerising, Grand Chasm needs to be seen to be believed. The project brings together the artists’ skills across various mediums – sculpture, video, installation and performance.

Grand Chasm is on at Sydney’s First Draft Gallery until Sunday 11 December. Join the artists at 4pm on 11 December for a glimpse into the process behind the project.
