The awards program focuses the designer incorporated use of Staron^® Solid Surfaces in a project, fit-out, or build. The design awards program has been create to facilitate great exposure for students, designers and architects, as well as show off the versatility of Staron^® in contemporary design.

Following last year’s heralded winners, the aim of the awards this year is to recognise and celebrate beautiful design at all levels – from a young designer’s vision, who creates concepts and ideas, all the way through to an experienced designer or architect with years of experience.

Submission for the awards is open from 1^st May to 30^th September 2017, across three categories…

Commercial: Any commercial or industrial project can be submitted for this major price, where the winner will take home $2000 cash plus Marketing Exposure.
Residential: Any house or apartment project can be entered here, and the winning submission team or individual will earn $1000 plus Marketing Exposure.
Concept: This is where to submit an idea or concept that has not been realised yet – such as a drawing, graphic or sketch. The winning prize is $250 plus Marketing Exposure.

The program is, as always, joined by a respected panel of industry judges, this year helmed by Stephen Varady, of Stephen Varady Associates, Amanda Stanaway of Woods Bagot, and Indesign’s own, editor Sophia Watson.
