Their major tannery, Andrew Muirhead Fine Scottish Leather, is the oldest upholstery leather tannery in the world. Lefflerís diverse and abundant product range covers over 8,000 different lines and is ideal for discerning architects and designers. Since the foundation of the company in 1932, Leffler products have been manufactured under stringent standards, including a fire and smoke toxicity rating that meets safety standards for Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Leffler is a founding member of the Commercial Leather Association of Australia and New Zealand which was established to develop exacting standards for commercial and high-end residential upholstery leather.
