Tacchini now exclusively available from Stylecraft.
June 1st, 2009
Stylecraft is pleased to launch the Tacchini collection; Two of the key products in the range are the ‘Moon’ chair and the ‘Glide’ chair.
The swiveling ‘Moon’ chair presents a dynamic silhouette; its compact polyurethane shell finished to gloss polyurethane colour. The piece’s continuous curves are created through a special process allowing the upholstered seat to form one piece with the frame.
The ‘Moon’ chair’s Italian designer, Pietro Arosio, applies great attention to detail to his work, a process derived from close collaboration with manufacturing engineers, widely researching and generating new technologies and materials.
Arosio’s products all convey a distinctive style, and his portfolio includes iconic designs such as the ‘Intercity’ and ‘Mini’.
The ‘Glide’ chair incorporates gentle, enveloping forms that allude to natural transition. A sled tubular frame, in gloss house finish, supports the fluid seat, upholstered in fire retardant polyurethane foam and house fabric or supple leather.
Glide’s designer, Monica Forster, has produced some of the most internationally recognised designs from Sweden. Pure form is a trademark of her work, as is her exploration of new materials and technology.
Her many accolades include Designer of the Year, Sweden, 2007 and 2006, and she has featured in the International Design Yearbook.
Both chairs are now available in Australia and Singapore, exclusively from Stylecraft.
