‘Elegance’ was the order of the day when both client and architect briefed the design team at Poliform.

This kitchen on the NSW south coast called for quality joinery to complement the exquisite detailing in what is a highly crafted home.
Designed to meet the needs of a couple with a young family, the oceanside property with its sea views, demanded a laid back, unpretentious aesthetic that was practical and serviceable.
Contrasting high-gloss white cabinets and corian benchtops with sustainably sourced Canalletto timbers, Poliform’s design team were able to imbue the space with a warmth befitting a family home whilst retaining a contemporary elegance.
Centrally located in the home, the open nature of the kitchen’s plan allows it to become an integral part of any entertaining activity. The large island allows for an expansive preparation area as well as becoming an informal dining option.
The decision to conceal electrical appliances and specify channel-profile handles has resulted in a space that is, visually, very streamlined and clean. The added consideration that has been invested in how the kitchen would be navigated and used by the owners has meant that the placement of utensils and appliances meets their needs rather than work against them.
Poliform’s complete design consultancy process has delivered a kitchen that works to the client’s needs whilst presenting immaculately: a premium, tailored solution.
