Teddy, a new collection from Zenith, offers a cohesive design language that extends across a versatile suite of tables and workstations, catering to the dynamic realities of the modern workplace.

Inspired by the dandyish silhouettes and bold palettes of the Teddy Boy subculture, Zenith Design Studio leverages the iconic mid-century aesthetic to create a simple yet comprehensive suite of functional workplace furniture.
The subtle sartorial influence is articulated through the range’s intentionally uncomplicated and pragmatic design language. Teddy’s signature round tubular leg and a defined foot pad ensure the reliable stability necessary in today’s dynamic workplace, while the clean line of the crossbar enhances the design’s restrained geometry and structural integrity. This deliberate rejection of redundancy yields a distinct vernacular of robust yet economical forms that translate material efficiency into a compelling design statement. The resulting pared-back aesthetic, reinforced by Zenith’s palette of standard powder-coat finishes, delivers an extensive range designed for cohesive and highly functional work environments.
The comprehensive collection encompasses fixed-height workstations, available in various runs and pod configurations, as well as meeting and occasional tables, standing-height desks, and wall-mounted surfaces. Cleverly engineered to seamlessly integrate with Zenith’s existing cable management and privacy screen solutions, Teddy forms a complete toolbox that enables designers to create a broad range of distinct work areas. From rows of desks configured into linear runs for open-plan environments and standing-height tables featuring convenient footrails for added comfort during team meetings to secluded focus areas for individual work, the collection supports the multifaceted spectrum of layouts and spatial arrangements as well as individual work styles, needs and preferences.
This versatility is elegantly embodied by the Teddy Project Table. Anchored by the understanding that collaboration is rarely static, this adaptable solution was purpose-built for the fluid dynamics of modern teamwork. Available with glides or castors for effortless agility, the Project Table empowers teams to reconfigure their space in real time. Light on its feet, the product also prioritises a clutter-free aesthetic with the optional integration of low-voltage power concealed within the frame that frees the worktop from bulky ducts or lids, preserving its uninterrupted plane and refined, practical form.
Restrained in its architecture but expansive in its functionality, Zenith’s Teddy Collection masterfully marries disciplined inspiration with robust, hard-working forms, emerging as a comprehensive and dynamic system for a modern workplace. And while the original Teddy Boys disrupted the societal norms of post-war Britain with their laid-back defiance, Zenith’s Teddy gently leverages their iconic aesthetic not to disrupt, but to seamlessly support the fluid nature of contemporary work.
