Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have reinvigorated the idea of the sofa with their aptly named Can product for Danish brand Hay.
January 6th, 2017
The Bouroullec brothers have designed a sofa to make our lives less complicated. Can is not just a practical, elegant and comfortable sofa but also comes flat-packed and can be assembled at home.
The design duo say they “believe people are keen to get things in a quick and simple way, it is better for all resources, it [requires] less transportation, less volume, less stock, it is just much easier to do.”
Can comes as a one, two and three seater. It has a powder-coated steel frame and the canvas upholstery is offered in an array of muted colours.
