Authentic Australian design was of paramount importance to market leading corporate services brand Boardroom in its new fit-out. With over 30 years’ experience and more than 500 Australian clients, Boardroom knew that it needed a contemporary and comfortable space which would reflect its true brand identity, as well as providing economy-of-scale cost savings.
A specialist in the design and manufacture of furniture solutions, Australian Design & Co rose immediately to the challenge, supplying all loose furniture items (excluding workstations) within a tight lead time. The project cast a wide scope which saw Australian Design & Co design and manufacture a number of innovative furniture solutions, such as:
And all within the predetermined lead time of 10 weeks.
The success of the project can be attributed to the open and collaborative nature of the partnership between the project designer, Geyer, and Australian Design & Co. Working in tandem with Geyer to achieve Boardroom’s specifications, Australian Design & Co was able to leverage the extensive range of Australian-made and customisable furniture and lighting solutions on offer with Australian Design & Co to complete the project on time and on budget.
Responding to the challenges of a site is second nature to Australian Design & Co, which overcame the limitations of the site by incorporating the design solution process for in-built elements within the 10-week building period. The result is a stunning and contemporary fit-out which perfectly encapsulates the ethos of Boardroom.
Australian Design & Co has a documented commitment to creating a sense of work-life balance within all of its new commercial projects, reminding us all to slow down and remember that productivity often manifests in unexpected places. The attention to detail in each piece of custom furniture combined with the integrated power and design solutions creates a work environment which is seamless, efficient, and quintessentially Australian.
An indelible icon in the Australian design industry, Australian Design & Co takes great pride in showcasing the exceptional talent behind Australian design and manufacturing. Its ability to deliver innovative and high-quality custom solutions has established Australian Design & Co as a trusted partner for both local and global brands.
