Eric will be remembered and admired by many of his colleagues for his kindness, enthusiasm, knowledge, mentor ship, determination and humour he brought to everything he did.

One of the very early supporters of Saturday Indesign, Eric Coster, passed away earlier this month, Sunday 12 December 2021, with his wife of 31 years and family by his side. After battling cancer for the past three and half years, Eric is now at peace.
Eric had extensive experience across local and international businesses holding executive roles in Australia, Asia, Middle East, USA and Europe; shaping leading brands passionate about design and functional workspaces.
Eric will be remembered and admired by many of his colleagues for his kindness, enthusiasm, knowledge, mentorship, determination and humour he brought to everything he did.
Eric was also an iconic Australian table tennis player and coach and in January 2020 became the first coach to be inducted into the TTA Hall of Fame.
Eric’s contribution as the Australian Men’s Team coach in the late 1970s is legendary, with the team rising up the world rankings to reach #12 in 1979. The team bond lasted continued to endure for more than 40 years, with regular catch-ups both on and off the table.
A memorial service is being held on Thursday, 23 December 2021 to celebrate Eric’s life at Mackay Family Funerals. Eric was very much loved by family and friends and will be sadly missed but never be forgotten.
