Tuesday 8 May sees the opening of He Made She Made’s second exhibition, Nannageddon.
May 7th, 2012
For their second exhibition, the team at He Made She Made are taking everything your Nan loves and turning it on its head.
They’ve assembled the work of a group of local designers – including Greg Hatton, Alex Zanda Lee, Dale Hardwick, The FortyNine Studio and Love at First Sight – to create “an homage/slap in the face to all things Nan”.
Maaike Pullar, Sir Curity
Alex Lee, Lady Elizabeth Standard Lamp
Subverting traditional notions of craft, the designs on display glorify the sweet and the twee, adding a harder contemporary edge.
Love At First Sight, Graffiti Stole My Heart
Studio Ham, Me So Horny
Nannageddon opens Tuesday 8 May, 6pm at He Made She Made, 70 Oxford Street Sydney.
