Melbourne Indesign is the biggest event on 2016’s design calendar, and we found it only fitting to hunt out four of the most exciting names in Australian design to serve as ambassadors. Foolscap Studio mastermind Adèle Winteridge, Open House Melbourne creative director Emma Telfer, Gray Puksand’s Heidi Smith, and design lecturer and NGV design curator Simone LeAmon are serving as the ambassador team for Melbourne Indesign 2016.
A regular highlight of Melbourne Indesign, The WorkLife seminars will this year feature design professionals diving headfirst into the issues most challenging the design industry today. Our experts will be looking at the gender divide in design leadership, experimentation vs. commercial outcomes, the collective exhausting with the ‘starchitect’, project manager malaise, designing for the public good, and the ongoing war for talent.
