The recent Melbourne Indesign 2016 saw Linak and Integ collaborating together at Rokeby studios to showcase the latest in modular office design.
Integ and Linak had previously collaborated at Edutech 16, and decided to further evolve their collaborative efforts to push their products to the market. For MID16, a typical exhibition space under a company name didn’t seem to be right for showcasing such modular and unique office design solutions, hence why Modular Workplace Design was the banner for this evolution of design.
Why Modular? Both Integ and Linak offer a range of products that are based around adapting to the changing nature of end users’ needs. The benefit for the end user is to discover what they need in their Workplace and look at what options benefit their day-to-day working environment the best. Proper workplace design is essential to ensure that the best possible productivity is achieved, as well as making sure that the ergonomics and adjustability of these spaces connect with the most important part of any business; its people.
We know all people are different, and are increasingly aware that flexibility in the workplace is something to value – both these firms have focused on this from the beginning of the design process.
Without proper design, the people part of the business can be overlooked. Linak and Integ thrive on working with people and the businesses they are associated with, and take all the needs of a business and offer end users a variety of options with their Modular Workplace Design components. The two start with the needs, and work through the wants, to get to a tried and tested solution at the end.
