Laminex says: “It is with a mix of great regret but also tremendous delight that I announce the retirement of Greg Gregory from the organisation. Greg has decided to take a well-earned retirement effective 30th September 2014. “
September 15th, 2014
“During his 44 years with Laminex, Greg has been an inspiration to many and his professionalism and admiration by so many have earned him the title of an Industry Icon. Greg’s departure will be a huge loss to the company due to his extensive experience and knowledge of our industry, and the amazing relationships he has formed with numerous customers and work colleagues.
Greg’s employment began with ACI glass (for which Laminex was a subsidiary) in Waterloo in 1970. His tenure has seen him work for AV Wehl Industries in Caringbah, which then formed as The Laminex Group in 1980. He also worked in the Laminex offices in Pyrmont and Surry Hills, before moving to Prospect. Although Greg saw much change throughout these years, he remained very driven and focused to achieve the excellent customer service that he has always been renowned for.
We thank him sincerely for his service and solid commitment to this business and to the many staff who he counselled, coached & supported throughout so many years. Greg will be missed by our team, our customers & the industry in general but as always he will keep himself busy with his car, his beautiful wife & his new career working in a friends business
I’m sure that his many friends and work colleagues throughout Laminex will join with me in wishing Greg and Jocelyn well during retirement years.”
