“The functions are well known. The shape is new.”
This is Tomo – a colourful addition to the Victorinox range, compact and robust in the tradition of the practical, iconic Swiss Army Knife.
Created by Kazuma Yamagucki from Abitax Design Tokyo – the tool embodies distinct Japanese design principles combined with the “Swiss Inventiveness” that forms the cornerstone of the Victorinox brand and its products.
IndesignLive.com have two Tomo tools to giveaway. Watch the video above and answer the following question for your chance to win!
“The designer of Victorinox’s TOMO, Kazuma Yamaguchi, defines the Japanese ideal of beauty as simplicity, in Arabic cultures it’s gold and in China it is the colour red… in design terms, tell us in 25 words or less where YOU find beauty.”
