Drink, prep and clean with the BLANCO UNIT that integrates the sink, mixer tap and waste management system.
September 16th, 2022
Water is used for different purposes and needs, from cleaning and preparing food to hydrating our bodies. There is no other place than the kitchen where water is most evidently central to modern life. Therefore, a system that harnesses water efficiently and practically is vital to the modern kitchen. The BLANCO UNIT from German kitchen fittings supplier, BLANCO, addresses this with a suite of solutions that include an innovative mixer tap, sink bowl, waste management system and complementary accessories.
For more than 95 years, BLANCO is driven to perfect the water hub. The wealth of experience and expertise has led to the latest upgrade to the BLANCO UNIT. The star of the BLANCO UNIT is its standout drinking water system that frees up time, effort and countertop space by combining a mixer tap and a control unit with a multi-stage filter that hides under the sink.
The EVOL-S Pro Filter is a three-in-one mixer tap that offers cold, warm and filtered water. Standard hot and cold water for kitchen tasks like cleaning and food prep is delivered through a flexible spout with a magnetic mount and dual-spray control nozzle. For filtered water, mains water runs through a BWT multi-stage filter before being dispensed from a separate spout. By filtering water no less than five times, the system reduces limescale and removes metal content and other particles that can cause unwanted taste and odour.
Complement the BLANCO UNIT.drink filter with the ETAGON multi-level bowl and SELECT II 60/2 to complete the hub. The bowl which comes in stainless steel and Silgranit® – a durable granite composite material with a stone-like surface available in a range of easy-to-match colours – allows various tasks to be performed on three functional levels simultaneously.
Meanwhile, BLANCO’s SELECT II 60/2 is an integrated storage and waste organisation system that optimises space under the sink. The system aids separation of waste and recycling, and organises cleaning products, utensils, sink accessories, and more. Kitchen users are bound to look for one more feature: easy maintenance. Generous and smooth surfaces from top to bottom ensures fuss-free cleaning.
