The story of Poliform is that of an adventurous enterprise. The Italian family-run company was established in 1970 as the evolution of a small artisan’s shop dating back to 1942. From the start, Poliform invested in new and modern production technologies, and kept a firm eye on an increasingly global market in its quest to create products of exceptional quality that would meet the demands of the day.
Today, Poliform is well known the world over for its highly diversified product line. Bookcases, wardrobes, beds, kitchens, sofas, armchairs and complements all come together to create the ‘Poliform house’ with stylistically compatible components that are both functional and modular, not to mention luxurious. Projects such as London’s West End Quay and New York’s AOL Time Warner Center are just a few of the projects that the company has been involved with.
In Singapore, Poliform has forged a strong partnership with Space Furniture, and can be found in many top condominium developments both here and in Malaysia. Most recently, Space Furniture has opened a new Poliform Wardrobe Gallery on Level 4 of the Glass Block where visitors can come and experience Poliform’s comprehensive range of wardrobe systems, including the Senzafine Island chest of drawers, and the Ego wardrobe system with an Extralight glass door that offers porosity while helping to divide space.
One can also find new materials, finishes and colours like Techno leather, highly reflective glass doors, and Prussia – the latest midnight blue shade available in matte lacquer. Going even deeper inside the Poliform universe, visitors at the new gallery can check out all the other beautiful details that make Poliform exceptional, like their different opening mechanisms, internal equipment and accessories.
