With Curly and Cruz, Vincent Sheppard has taken a fifties-inspired look and made it hip, playful and fresh.
The Belgium home furnishings manufacturer, a name that is synonymous with finely crafted Lloyd Loom furniture for both indoors and out, was looking to experiment with a different approach in designing Curly and Cruz.

Curly
Keeping to their core material, rattan, and held together by spun paper, the designs are given a modern touch with stainless steel frames (for indoor use) and aluminium frames (for outdoor use).

Cruz
The chairs made their debut at Maison et Objet in Paris this year, and have since exhibited in multiple design shows, capturing much attention from design watchers along the way.
With new designs such as Curly and Cruz, Vincent Sheppard shows that it is constantly evolving and innovating whilst keeping true to tradition and knowledge passed down through the years.
