BrandCulture create a visual narrative of Sydney Water’s history in the company’s Parramatta head office.
May 10th, 2011
Sydney Water’s corporate headquarters is a collaboration between Denton Corker Marshall and Woods Bagot, with environmental branding and signage by BrandCulture Communications.
Using the ’journey to Parramatta’ as their core concept, BrandCulture’s graphics create a story that begins on the ground floor and ends at the office’s breakout centre on level 16, depicting events from Australia’s white settlement to the present day.
Lift lobbies feature graphic representations of the river sections, listing the meeting rooms for easy navigation. Acrylic and blue vinyl lines lend a clean finish.
BrandCulture consulted with Sydney Water heritage consultants to determine the milestones in the company’s history, as well as gain access to photographic archives. Archival images were printed to optically clear film and applied to coloured glass in the meeting rooms.
BrandCulture’s visual representation of Sydney Water’s rich cultural heritage provide a defining motif throughout the building that captures the tradition of the company and its place in Sydney’s history.
