Carpet Republic presents the world’s first 100% recycled leather flooring.
June 21st, 2012
Designed by Torlys, Carpet Republic introduces the world’s first eco-engineered flooring made of 100% recycled leather.
In the past, leather floors have been produced for limited customised use, usually at a very high price.
Today you can purchase easy-to-install, beautiful leather floors that use leather recycled from the manufacturing of jackets, upholstery, belts, shoes and handbags – fine quality leather that would otherwise find its way to the local landfill.
Torlys Leather is available in 12 classic tones and patterns and is produced with a recycled cork backing, which aids insulation and reduces noise.
This high quality engineered product utilises a resilient High Density Fibre core and the industry leading patented Uniclic joint system. It also contains no harmful VOC emissions and no added formaldehyde.
