2017’s Salone del Mobile furniture fair will see Pedrali displaying its new 2017 collection within a unique solid geometry set-up in tribute to the soundness of the legendary Italian design company.
April 5th, 2017
Visitors to the Pedrali space at the Milan Furniture Fair will enter the stand, designed by the Milan-based studio Calvi Brambilla, following the exhibition path opened by a dark blue-green grid, recalling the virtual space of histograms used in architecture. Inside, compositions of primary volumes invite the audience to witness the new collections of designer furniture, including a new Pedrali model designed by Patrick Jouin celebrating two decades of design excellence of SaloneSatellite.
Pedrali is launching and displaying a great series of designer furniture at the 2017 Salone del Mobile; we’ve selected five of our favourites…
REVA – SaloneSatellite 20 Years collection
Designed by Patrick Jouin, the Reva collection comprises an elegant three-seat sofa, a lounge armchair and a sunbed convertible into a sofa. Reva is an outdoor collection with smooth lines and generous sizes that calls to mind relaxing and dreamy atmospheres. The four tapered legs that support the thin extruded aluminium frame of the build underline and emphasise the clean design of the Reva collection.
NYM
From Cazzaniga Mandelli Pagliarulo, Nym is a collection of solid ash wood that sees a new twist on English traditional Windsor chairs. The bow backrest of curved wood joins the shaped solid wood seat in an uninterrupted manner and turns into an armrest on the armchair.
FOX
Fox is an elegant collection of armchairs with distinct character and restrained dimensions. An identifying design features a harmonious mix of materials and contrasts among geometric lines. Versatility and functionality are the name of the game for Fox, thanks to the multiple colour combinations between the wood and comfortable shell.
GIRAVOLTA
Inspired by lanterns of times past, Giravolta is a wireless lighting system distinguished by a contemporary design, suitable for outdoor environments. The name reflects its essence: the swivelling diffuser and the rechargeable feature recalls the great inventor Alessandro Volta and his main discovery, the battery.
BUDDY
Designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, the soft lines and clean design features of the Buddy pouf and tables imbue a friendly and versatile character, designed to complete the interiors of every environment. The rounded shape of the pouf is supported by thin, rigorous legs making the pouf functional and visually lifting, a feat met by the matching the coffee tables’ frame and squared tops.
