Barrisol shines at Sydney’s The Star casino complex.
February 1st, 2012
The original fitout of Sydney’s Star City casino featured 650sqm of dark gloss blue Barrisol installed over 44 suspended curved frames, presiding over the western entrance to the complex.
When the casino underwent major renovation and transformation to become The Star, Barrisol were invited to give the western entrance a contemporary new look.

A tight deadline called for the removal and installation to be completed in just 6 days.
Working with The Buchan Group and builders ISIS, Barrisol removed the existing product and replaced it with a new acoustic gloss beige Barrisol membrane, improving the acoustics of the space and giving it a brighter, fresher feel.

In addition to its aesthetic and acoustic properties, Barrisol is recyclable. All 650sqm of the original Barrisol product was removed and recycled locally, minimising environmental impact.
