Reddie is a new furniture and lifestyle concept, offering online customisable designs, launched to change the way people perceive and shop for furniture.
Reddie has been planned from the ground up with simplicity and originality at the fore. Driven by a passion for pieces that will stand the test of time and decidedly against trends, appearance and durability are the two pillars of the company’s philosophy.
Currently, there is available a range of dining tables, side tables, coffee tables, and storage units in four distinct styles; Bob, Suzy, Willy, and Vinny. Each style has a different personality and is customisable, so anyone can find something that suits his or her style. With this customisation, there are over 1000 unique combinations that can be made. The products are available in natural teak, a white-washed teak, and an Italian cararra marble.
“I wanted to create a collection of classic furniture that could be customised online. After working as a commercial interior architect for many years, I found selecting furniture tiring,” says Caroline Olah, founder of Reddie. “Often a table I liked did not come with an option to change colours or sizing, and customising furniture was always time consuming and costly.
“When I looked at the furniture market, particularly the online, there were limited stores in the middle price range where you can find good quality, handmade and original designs. It was at that point I set out to create Reddie.
“Reddie is a fun and approachable furniture brand. It aims to make furniture shopping, enjoyable, easy and accessible by allowing you to create your unique Reddie piece. Your designs can vary from being funky and colourful, to clean and simple.”
