A wander around the shops. A trip to the museum. An espresso on the piazza. An active, fulfilling life between the office, cafe and loft….. Milan, the capital of Lombardy, is also the capital of art, fashion and design. And it is the home of Antonio Citterio.

This designer and architect of international renown has already designed the Axor Citterio collection for Axor. Axor is now presenting his latest work: Axor Citterio M. An entire bathroom collection, inspired by modern life in the city. M for Modernism, Metropolis and Milan.

Distinctively slim contours and an elegant overall impression of the collection – not so much a tribute to the spirit of the times as one to Italian design. Perhaps that is why Axor Citterio M can be easily and seamlessly integrated into so many different bathroom furnishings and lifestyles.

Accordingly, Axor Citterio M also demonstrates the difference between fashionable and modern, temporary and timeless – almost incidentally.

SPECTACLE: Inside the award-winning @sculptform_ showroom by @woodsbagot

A statement showroom in the middle of Melbourne’s CBD gave Sculptform the opportunity to truly showcase its handcrafted philosophy and design credibility.

When Woods Bagot was approached to submit a concept as part of a competition to design the new Sculptform showroom, the team took the opportunity to throw caution to the wind and really get creative in their design response.

In many ways, this project is a demonstration of Sculptform’s capabilities. As such, the client also took on the role of manufacturer and builder. This project blends multiple sectors in its execution, and was realised thanks to the cross-disciplinary knowledge of the team.

It is an immersive, experiential ‘showroom’ space, replete with a high-tech digital gallery. But it also includes a workspace for the team, a workshop, and an addition that Woods Bagot brought to the brief – a space for entertaining and presentations that can cater to different-sized groups.
