Australia’s longest-running design festival, Sydney Design 09 celebrates local and international design with a diverse program running over 16 days from 1 to 16 August 2009.
The vibrant program features a range of exhibitions, local and international speakers, tours, markets and workshops designed to engage and inspire audiences.
Highlights at the festival’s main precinct, the Powerhouse Museum, include Young Blood: Designers Markets, Australian International Design Awards exhibition, late night event Play Late, and the Design Underground tours.
Sydney Design 09 extends all over the city too, with more than 45 events and 27 partners around Sydney.
