As polytec’s Design Awards 2017 visited Sydney, the design lovers present were lucky enough to catch some of the finest recipients of the brand’s Residential, Commercial and Retail/Hospitality awards yet.

After Melbourne, Queensland and Tasmania‘s audiences of design lovers were treated to polytec’s 2017 awards night showcases of great design, Sydney was up next! For the Sydney leg of the polytec Design Awards, the quality of entrants was among the best yet, meaning awarding the gold to only three projects a tougher than ever prospect for the judges…
The Winners:
‘Rawson Homes ‘The Orelia’ took home Best Residential in the polytec Sydney Design Awards! Calcutta profiled doors in Classic White Matt were used in the kitchen cabinetry, with Maison Oak Ravine featured in the laundry, kitchen and family room.
Mostaghim & Associates refurbished 112 rooms in the Central Station Hotel, using Florentine Walnut Woodmatt in the bed heads, TV cabinets and bathroom joinery, winning Best Retail and Hospitality space! This project proves how realistic the Woodmatt Melamine range can be.
Geyer‘s ‘Ferrier Hodgson’ fitout wins Best Commercial workspace in the Sydney Design Awards, using Natural Oak Ravine in the joinery and Black Wenge as a feature ceiling.
