After months of preparation, the INDE program is here this week! With the INDE.Summit having taken place in recent days, the INDE.Awards are set for Thursday August 10th. It makes for two full days dedicated to showcasing the very best of Indo-Pacific architecture and design. Don’t miss your chance to secure your FREE registration for both events today.
The program kicks off on Wednesday, with a virtual symposium that brings a unique regional focus to the most pressing challenges facing our industry. This year, the INDE.Summit responds to the theme of “the future is here”, a motif that will have our speakers questioning how the many changes that inform architecture and design affect the here and now.
The formal program kicks off at 9:10am AEST, with a keynote address on artificial intelligence by Dr. Eduard Hovy. From here, settle in for a full day of thought leadership across panels including “Education and more – Shifts in Institutional Architecture”, “Workplace – Architecture for a Hybrid Workforce”, “Housing – Community and Connecting in Places we Live” and “Sustainability – Architecture, Activism and Culture.”
Speakers have been handpicked for their diverse experience and different approaches to practice, with a mix of trail blazers and industry stalwarts coming together to challenge and inspire you. Hear from the likes of Colin Seah (Ministry of Design), David Teh (PRA), Emma McInnes (Women in Urbanism Aotearoa and The Urban Advisory), Erin McDonald (Blaklash), Jeremy Smith (Irving Smith Architects), Kellie Payne (Bates Smart), Nigel Morris (SJB), Rajat Khanna (GSA), Shimul Javeri Kadri (SJK Architects), Sidhartha Talwar (Studio Lotus), Sonali Rastogi (Morphogenesis), Sue Fenton (Woods Bagot) and more.
PLUS, enjoy an additional five sessions presented by our INDE.Summit and INDE.Awards partners, where lessons learnt from the formal panels will be drilled down into their more practical elements. Hear about the products presenting solutions to architectural challenges and hear the latest innovations that are realising the future of design. Hear from representatives from Woven Image, Colorbond, Kaolin Tiles, Capral Aluminium, Technogym, K5, MillerKnoll, Zenith, Gaggenau, Bosch, Autex Acoustics and Milliken.
But your INDE journey doesn’t end there! Every FREE Summit registration will give you access to the digital INDE.Awards gala, to be streamed live on the evening of Thursday August 10th. Access the broadcast from our VIP Sydney event and have the best seat in the house as the winners and honourable mentions for 2023 are revealed. Hear from the most outstanding talent of our region and witness the projects, people and products who will take home INDE gold!
