The latest design initiative by leading Italian kitchen appliance innovator, Smeg, is the brand’s Australian website.
December 18th, 2008
Launched on December 1, 2008 Smeg’s new site has been 12 months in the making and sets a new benchmark in terms of appearance, ease of use and quality of information for appliance websites.
smegappliances.com.au opens to a clean, visually stylish, perfectly logical internet research tool.
Soft greys and deep red coupled with simple front-on appliance shots mean the eye – and the mouse – readily focus on the key points of interest.
Its clear and logical sequence of pages allows the user to easily navigate through the site with highly relevant information delivered in concise grabs. There is an option to compare up to three models within a category to ensure exactly the right appliance is selected for individual requirements. Advice is also given on which appliances work well together in a kitchen.
Other informative options – available at a glance – are recipes, current catalogues, promotions, store locator, new releases, media coverage and product manuals and dimensions.
