It’s perhaps the most important tool of any office space. It’s not a computer, not a desk or telephone – it’s your body. And to ensure it stays healthy we need the right equipment.
The Largest commercial seating manufacturer in Australia, Gregory Commercial Furniture addresses this need with their Gregory seat technologies: the Original Dual Density Posture Support – two-time winner of the Australian Design Award – SoftCell® Comfort Technology, Column Technology and X-Cel Comfort.
Dual Density Posture Support
Offering a unique combination of support, the award-winning Dual Density Posture Support technology ensures that the spine is maintained in the healthy, upright ‘S’ curve of good posture.
Using softer foam at the back of the seat and firmer at the front, the pelvis is supported and a ‘waterfall’ front edge improves circulation behind the thighs.
Soft Cell
The Soft Cell also works to support the pelvis with the firmness of the foam decreasing towards the seat’s front, encouraging circulation to the lower limbs. The moulded top layer of foam allows the pelvis to settle into the seat.
Column Technology
The Column technology uses a firm wedge of foam in the base of the seat to prevent the pelvis from sliding forward – one of the most common causes of poor posture – promoting the same ‘S’ curve with the head properly balanced on top of the spine.
X-Cel Comfort
The X-Cel Comfort uses the same world-renowned innerspring technology employed by modern mattresses manufacturers – with individual pocket springs to even out weight distribution and encourage correct seating posture. X-Cel Comfort also offers circulated airflow under the seat, reducing the seat temperature.
