A fashion designer’s stylish ottoman.
February 9th, 2010
Furniture and fashion are an increasingly popular pairing, with cutting-edge designers delving into the interior design industry to great acclaim.
Argentinean fashion designer Martin Churba has come up with an enticing selection of home furnishings available through Anibou.
Based in Buenos Aires’ Recoleta district – and now boasting stores in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka – Churba produced a range of home accessories, amongst them cushions, place mats, slippers and vases.
In 2009 he presented his first design for Gervasoni at the Milan Furniture Fair.
The giant knitted ottoman covered in brightly coloured cotton that brings to mind an old-fashioned ‘bean bag’ presents a snug and yet stylish addition to any living area.
The Sweet 40 is available through Anibou – distributors of international and local furniture, with stores in Melbourne and Sydney.
