Zumtobel, an international leading supplier of lighting solutions based in Austria is offering its latest lighting fixture range. Fully aware of its responsibility to the environment, the company’s newest lighting creation combines a sleek design with cutting-edge lighting technology.
Since the original Mellow Light, which it was based on, further developments have resulted in a quantum leap in efficiency. With a light output ratio of 95%, Mellow Light V is almost 30% more efficient than its predecessor.
The increased efficiency has been achieved by a combination of improvements in optics, diffuser and thermal management.
The internal reflector provides a reflection of 98 % and the lighting chambers’ diffusers have been changed from opal to prismatic.
The lighting fixture is available both as an LED version with 4000 K stable white light in 3000 or 4000 K and with conventional fluorescent lamp technology.
The Cool Spot Optimiser ensures that the lamps operate at an optimum temperature – the result is an increase in both efficiency and service life.
Mellow Light V luminaires can be seen at Zumtobel Australian Light Centres in major capitals.
