The award-winning LEDPOD has been designed for installation into cylindrical handrails.
August 30th, 2011
Klik Systems Australia has created LEDPOD, the luminaire that fits into various types of cylindrical handrail.
Asymmetric light distribution allows for clear, undisturbed illumination.

The design incorporates a glass lens and large heat sink that do not touch, reducing the heat at the point of human contact for completely safe application.
CREE LEDs allow for more than 50,000 hours of life, with either a 350mA or 500mA driver for each LED limiting the result of a failure to a single LED in each instance.
Installation is made easy through a simple but secure snap fit mechanism, and maintenance is also kept to a minimum.

Proof of LEDPOD’s success can be seen in its use in a number of high-profile recent projects.
