Woven Image collaborates with Fleur Olby on a new textile collection and introduces EchoPanel Tile Vee.

Grass on desk partition, Barred Horsetail on bench, Bamboo on cushions, and EchoPanel Tile Vee on wall.
Partnering with internationally acclaimed photographer Fleur Olby, Woven Image have released a stunning, digitally printed interior textile collection featuring three designs – Grass, Barred Horsetail and Bamboo. As is characteristic of Olby’s highly stylised work, the collection combines the vibrancy of her elegant photography forms with the intricate details found in nature and plants.
Olby’s ability to capture hues and textures invisible to the naked eye creates a sense of wonder and curiosity in her images. Simple compositions allow the bright hues and intricate textures of the species in question to take centrestage – a fact that is further explored through Woven Image’s digitally printed textiles.
The photographer’s style of work can be described as that of a botanist in the way she presents a piece of flora in high detail at a micro scale. Her photographs are not only a study of living plants, but an introduction to the inner depth and beauty of the subject matter.
“In my image making for these plant portraits, I aim to convey the essence of the plant, visually treading the line between documenting detail and abstraction into patterns,” she says.
Also new to Woven Image is EchoPanel Tile Vee, a bespoke concept designed, developed and produced in the company’s headquarters. Mimicking faceted cut gemstones via the customised angled ‘Vee’ design, the tiles can be combined in a vertical application to create a one-of-a-kind secondary three-dimensional pattern.
EchoPanel Tile Vee is cut from 12mm EchoPanel and comes in 13 colours in boxes of 10 tiles per colour.
