Designed by Tobias Partners, the new Brisbane showroom for Tongue n Groove is exquisitely playful. Celebrated with an unforgettable night, this showroom reimagines the retail experience.

For the lovers of fine oak, Tongue n Groove is back with its second showroom launch in Brisbane. Welcoming 150 guests into their new home, the launch event took place on Thursday 7th November 2019. It was an unforgettable night filled with live music, engaging conversation and exquisite food. Director of Tongue n Groove, Richard Karsay, greeted the guests and thanked everyone for making the new space come to life.
The showroom has continued its playful retail experience – building on the award-winning design aesthetic celebrated in the award-winning Sydney showroom that was launched at the end of last year.
Designed by Nick Tobias of Tobias Partners, the showroom is dramatically captivating, with a glowing presence illuminating the brands extensive timber product range. Creative and artfully crafted, this space is like no other. While similar design elements have been used, new features adorn the space. A large circular LED light punctuates the ceiling, along with an intricately detailed timber edging on the layered flooring platforms to create an enticing visual effect.
From the floor, to the walls, and right up to the ceiling, the entire Tongue n Groove solid engineered European oak floorboard range is on display for visitors to enjoy. In 17 colours and an impressive variety of formats, parquetry patterns and applications, the space provides a stage to showcase the inherent beauty of solid oak.
A testament to the artistic brilliance of Tobias Partners, the Tongue n Groove Brisbane showroom pushes the boundaries of conventional showroom design and reimages the contemporary retail experience.
