Situated on the iconic Dubai creek, the Boardwalk Restaurant has been refurbished by Fady Chams, Managing Director PDI Prospect Design International JLT.
May 9th, 2014
Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has re-opened the Boardwalk restaurant: nestled on the shores of the idyllic Dubai Creek, Boardwalk has been a popular Dubai institution since its opening 20 years ago.
The interior concept of its re-launch in 2014 is based on a natural marine look and feel: lots of wood veneer and ropes have been used in the interior and the facade of the open kitchen is made of wood planks like a wooden boat. Metallic fish bowl has been specially designed, customized and installed on the entrance wall and all going towards to same direction into the restaurant. Many products of the Italian manufacturer Pedrali were chosen for the refurbishment of the restaurant, both for indoor and outdoor areas. The Box armchairs, with sandwich panelled seat in bleached oak, with cushions and sides upholstered and tapered wooden legs, and the Inox tables are integrated perfectly in the cozy setting. Who prefer dining on the terrace, to enjoy the spectacular view of Dubai Creek and skyline, can take a seat on the Pasha armchairs, in fumè polycarbonate version, or on the Serif barstools in polyethylene, always signed by Pedrali.
Boardwalk features an updated Mediterranean inspired menu, where guests can enjoy freshly baked pizzas and calzone from the authentic new oven, as well as an extensive fresh fish and seafood selection prepared to order. The result is a relaxed and friendly experience for families, couples and groups of friends.
