Read all about it! This new wallcovering papers the walls in a whole new way
November 28th, 2012
Yesterday’s News is a new addition to Instyle’s Wallcoverings collection. This unique and witty wallcovering was inspired by the designer’s travels to India, where they saw shopping bags made from recycled English and Hindi newspapers made by craft-based rural producers using traditional techniques and hand-based processes.
Yesterday’s News is made from recycled newspaper, which is woven on handlooms by artisan weavers, laminated to recycled paperboard. The production uses minimal fossil fuels and is free of plasticisers, heavy metals and fire retardant chemicals.
Available in seven colourways, Yesterday’s News achieves a Group 1 fire rating and is suitable for a variety of commercial interiors such as hotels, restaurants, breakout spaces and education as well as private residences.
