Austral Bricks arrived in the city earlier this year with the opening of their showroom in Sydney’s CBD.

Austral Bricks have a history of brickmaking dating back 100 years, with some impressive products and projects up their sleeve.
Until recently based in Sydney’s west, the company opened its Design Studio at 50 Carrington Street in the city’s CBD in May this year.
The space showcases the complete collection – Austral Bricks, Austral Masonry, Austral Precast, Bristile Roofing and Auswest Timbers – and marks a significant move for the company.
“The Design Studio is a totally new concept providing a sophisticated and stylish space for architects, designers and developers as well as retail consumers in the heart of the Sydney CBD,” said Mark Ellenor, Austral Bricks NSW general manager.
The Studio’s in-house team is on hand to provide advice on products, from colour and finish selections to technical specifications.
“The Design Studio will host monthly networking events for industry professionals as well as dedicated and informative presentations to architects, designers and developers, ensuring they are kept up to date and informed on all available Brickworks products and developments,” said Ellenor.
“We want architects and designers to invite their clients into the studio so that they can be inspired by the vibrant celebration of style in a great environment.”
The Austral Bricks Design Studio is open from 9am to 6pm on weekdays and 9am to noon on Saturdays.
